Check all cables & connections are OK. What signal strength is
showing on screen. If you scanned on 6952 try a scan on 6887.
If you are paying for broadband only your signal may be capped
by provider. Try removing any splitters during scan -
You would have to pay basic TV package to get stronger signal.
First make sure it's not dodgy cable, connection, or splitter.
What signal levels are showing on box. You could try a signal
attenuator, they only cost a couple of pounds & often do the
trick.Comment

Have a look at syst.info in box menu, see is Carling 1.03 s/w
shown there. If not flash 1.03-STARVIEW 6 to the box. It's in
DOWNLOADS. Then try scanning again. I would scan box at a
neighbours house who is on same provider. Then connect at
your house & see what signal levels are like when watching
channelsComment

What's the history with box. Is it new or have you got it for a
while. If it's a new box make sure it's not a Starview 7. Your
signal strength seems OK but your signal quality seems high.
Most boxes quality would be around 60%+. I don't have one of
these boxes to check it. Maybe someone who has Starview 6/7
would post their signal strength & quality so you could compare.
I presume you have co-axial cable connected to cable-in. I have
never heard of a box with fluctuating signal like this during a
scan. If you can't sort it out you could return to supplier for
replacementComment
