well it did not take long for Dipsticks and W*n*e*s to start selling codes and bin files on ebay for ?5 DE-CRYPT KEYMASTER has suspended sending any more codes well i can not blame them but a few dipsticks are spoiling it for the majority of genuine people gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi newbie here, but just wanted to add my 2 pence worth......what a bunch of Ba*tards!!!.......

But I?ve seen this with a lot of free info/advice on the net, someone gets a hold of it and then starts selling it on fleebay for a quick buck....the problem is people will always buy it rather then spend a few extra minutes researching the information on the net they require......it's just like updating the boxes, I was asked for ?15 to get my Starview updated around a year ago....but rather then pay, 30 minutes on the internet and a quick trip to Maplins for a null modem cable and I was updating mine and all my friends boxes for free!!

while there's people willing to pay, they'll always be people willing to take....I'm just glad of the message that was put on version 1 of the keymaster software telling them to upgrade to 1.2 and not to pay for it, this will stop a great number of people buying it from fleebay!

There is a new firmware for your starview 3. Use a null modem cable (RS-232 serial cable) to flash to the latest firmware. You wouldn't need to mess around with the keys anymore.

Me and loads of my friends have starview 1. So far there are no firmware update to this date. We (along with thousands of other SV1/SV2 owners) live in hope.
