hi i am struggling in install the channels on my starview 7 box, we are plugged directly into to modem as advised and this is working but when i search for channels nothing is found, please help

do u mean u are plugged into the router and youve loaded the software

sorry did mean router and i wasn't aware i needed to download the software, how and where do i do that? please help

ok go to downloads starview carling 1.03 dowload it and tranfer it to usb stick then get back to me ok ill talk u through the rest ok

ok turn your box off insert usb turn box on go to menu go to utilitys then usb press ok highlight carling 1.03 press software upgrade let it upgrade the box will reboot then get back to me ok

ok now menu installaitions auto search put symbol rate to auto scroll down and press search then get bk to me

do u have u cable feed in

we don't have cable tv feed, if thats what you mean, was told that as long as we had internet and a router at side of tv we are ok. is this correct?
