cable TV,starview or any other option,pls?

Hi dudes,I had been watching cable TV channels,using dreambox till last year.
I'm looking for some advise as to choosing the relevant receiver needed like starview7 or any other you could suggest,pls.
I have the old virgin TV cable feed & the router.
