Starview HD+ picture keeps freezing every couple of minutes

    Starview HD+ picture keeps freezing every couple of minutes

    Hey Guys,

    Just want to say, you Guys are doing a wonderful job with the up to date information and trouble shooting tips in fixing our Cable/Sat issues. Thank you as i have recently set up my Starview HD.

    Anyways !!!!

    My issue is with the Starview HD+. Ive got only cable side running on it, I have connection with Orange Homeplugs wireless. I have the latest firmware Carling+..102.UAD.

    However not a major problem, but every 2mins. My picture freezes, then changing channels. all works fine?.

    I dont have a splitter connection.
    i have ADSL running just under 5Mb via wireless router and homeplugs, in the next room
    No one else uses the wifi if were watching TV.

    Just curious to know what may be causing this, has any one else experienceing this issue. Im from the Bedfordshire area.

    Also my mate has starview 7 with the recent last week boxing event working fine on his. Why with my Starview HD could not see the boxing, just the poster advert for the event? just a thought i assumed cable side the same server.

          I'll hopefully try this when i get back home.

          Another thing i noticed the next day, seems better now for some reason, do i still need to dowload this and flash it?

          also can you explain the boxing last week, as the starview 7 works and the HD box just shows the advert poster cheers.

              dont think anyone on the starview7 server got the boxing

                  Just realised i did have the latest firmware.

                  I have re-flashed....

                  now ocurring every 5 mins picture frezees then it all ok

                  Weird.

                  Im assuming its the Server side only.

                  Hopefully someone can advise me?
