You are not paying Prov. for full package. You are PIRATING their service. If you are not paying even basic subs (a total leech) your signal may be weak, resulting in certain transponders not scanning channels. Cable-c/s is fairly dodgy, compared to Sat-c/s as Sat-server can be based outside host country. Cable Provs will always introduce counter measures to scramble channels on pirate boxes.
Pirate boxes then need new fix to clear channels & some channels may take days or weeks before they clear with new fix.
Sat-c/s is nearly hic-cup free. Unfortunately for cable users most of the hi-tech "nerds" are Sat users, hence Sat piracy is
light years ahead of cable. Either switch to Sat, pay full cable
subs, or else stop whingeing & walk your dog. Even better go to
fav pub to watch live sports. The pub & taxi trades are on their
knees, so splash a bit of cash & boost the ailing world economy
