sv6 need new firmware to overcome with nag3

If it's a SV6 you have LAN must be connected to router from box
to clear encrypted channs. Here is latest firmware;
Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 6 LAN CARLING-1.03
If it's too much hassle to connect LAN by cable you could use a
set of homeplugs or Open Media wi-fi bridge.

Press INFO to check signal strength & quality. Weak signal can be
caused by poor cables or connections. Can also have weak signal
if you don't pay basic TV package. Downloading on PC while
using SV6 will also cause freezing

i fail to understand why do we have to connect internet? cant we modify the serial code from the SV6 menu? i dont feel safe to use sv6 with internet - im sure VM will know who is trying to send the signals from to the server!

it decodes every 3 seconds so u need the internet m8

If you don't feel safe using SV6 with internet, then don't use it.
You could sell it on to someone who will use it or better still why
don't you modify the serial code
