    hd combo and sv7

SEE WHEN YOU PUT THE LATEST SOFTWARE ON THE STARVIEW7 AND HD COMBO THERE IS A DATE NOW FROM WHEN THE BOX WAS FIRST CONNECTED AND IT GIVES YOU A DATE 1 YEAR ON FROM WHEN IT WAS FIRST CONNECTED.SO IF YOUR BOX WAS FIRST CONNECTED ON 17/6/2010 IT GIVES A DATE OF 17/6/2011.CAN ANYONE COFIRM IS THIS THE DATE WHEN THE SERVER WILL SHUT THE BOX DOWN AS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ON FOR A YEAR.

      Hd Combo+ date

After down loading the latest firmware it showing me the expiry date in Network ( HS Net status showing me 2011-05-01).

If i down grade to the eariler version FW:- Carling+_F531_1207.UAD

will this make any difference to the life span on the SVHD+

Also i noticed more SV owners have the same expiry date 2011-05-01? how come

if people have same expiry date, i may surprise you with this answer, but they connected the same day as you, they do sell more than one a day.

where is all this starview lifespan coming from, these were sold from day one with 12 month cs.

                So Guys,

In order to keep having cabling viewing all channels. i must buy another new Starview HD, which will have 1 year channels after configuring.

                or

when my starview hd finishes in May, will there be a better box in HD, a starview 8 HD?

                Thanx
