    tv button

    hi all happy new year to u all

    just a short 1 ive got a sv hd combo and im on the cable side ive noticed on the remote control the tv button when i press it nothing happens ? what the hell do u use it for and how ?

      What do you want to use it for. Don't think TV button has any
      function with current firmware

              The Combo remote is a universal.
              Look for the code for your tv and follow the instructions in your manual to programme the remote.
              You can then keep your original tv remote in a safe place and only need it for functions that you cannot use from the combo remote. I have a Sony and the starview remote can do nearly every function as the original tv remote..
              Once upon a time it was all about backdoor 0 passwords, now its only about the rsa keys !!!!!!!

                  I stand corrected. I didn't think this function was operational in
                  current firmware.
