starview 7 usb lan setup problem??

having a problem setting up my new box can anyone help?

i have installed the carling firmware through usb port but where it says here---

Menu - Option -networks - net application - select type ***8220;Ustream(UK) or Istream(Ireland) - ok

when i click on network mine has -

ip setup
sw download
home stream setup

what do i do??

any help appreciated

set to autoupdate on hidden menu
connected lan cable

Check one thing first; MENU--UTILITY--SYSTEM INFO
Make sure s/w version is Carling 1.04
MENU--OPTIONS--NET APPLICATION--select Ustream

Carling 1.04 selects Ustream by default, you do not need to do that manually any more.

how do you down load Carling 1.04 my cable channels keep on freezing

You might need to check cable signal levels, press INFO button.
Weak signal causes freezing picture. Check all cables & connections. Not paying basic TV sub & downloading on PC also

you need a different firmware now and you now need to pay a subscription from what I've been reading. Don't know how you pay the sub.
