    starview 7 freezing, please help

    hi folks, my starview 7 keeps freezing,,,,,,all new cables,,,good connections,,,,,and tried manual setting the box

    PLEASE HELP

    make sure you have the latest firmware on 1.04 on sv7 and do the usual default and scan.

      i was told that 1.04 puts a date on the sv7 and it will go off then

            I do not know much about the time limit but my next door fitted a starview6 and its running now nearly over 18months now and has not stop working.
            Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

              You sure Jumbe, 18 months. Don't think SV6 is on UK market
              that long. They were released in Eire only 12 months ago & I'm
              sure that was before UK release

                or he bought a second box and stayed quiet .as the box has been logged on first lan connection timer starts to run,and if you have it locked away in the closet for 11 months only lasts another month

                  Well I am not going to make a guess but I remember in Leeds star6 were running ending September 2009 then in West Yorkshire November 2009, I have a receipt some were in the house and I will be able to give you the exact date when I find it.

                    only came out jan/feb 2010, original software dated 15/12/2009 but im sure by the time they arrived it was january 2010
