I've got most channels - don't have an HD receiver so I've never had them - got films, sport, documentaries and kids. I did upload Carling v1.04 (after doing a factory reset) and re-scan channels etc. as per the insructions, and then rebooted box and rooter. It might be worth doing that if you are still having problems. Had no problems since my earlier post.


Spoke too soon - major freeze, Info bar says "Connecting". I presume the server is down again. Time for bed

its not firmware related,when server resumes you can do it then,how long a piece of string may be easier to answer.

I would wait until server is up & running, then flash 1.04 f/ware

I see in earlier post it's back on in Birmingham. Turn off box &
router. Wait 1 min. Turn on router then turn on box

It was never off for me (and others posting on other forums) Best guess would be a Routing problem with your ISP - are you all connected through VM Internet by any chance?

mine come back on thismorning then about 2hrs ago i switched it off as i took the xmas decs down and it was saying connecting again which lasted about 2mins,and so did nxt doors when i asked him 2 switch his off.only seems to happen when you switch it off?????and yes i am on virgin bb

tryed all the usual things still saying not connected only had the box just 2 weeks looks like a dear freeveiw box

Good man Bill, but when you say you tried all usual things one
would assume you had U-stream, EMU, etc all turned on

if they power off box and switch on again will it make a connection or does router need a reboot also.
if 1.04 is on box nothing to switch on in settings

This should not happen to the box. Are you up & running again.
If not try reboot router, then box. There may still be server
issues involved here
