starview hd combo server

hi
is the starview hd combo server differant from the starview 7 as my hd box is not getting the channels at the moment but i try a starview 7 and its fine.
also the hd box does this a lot, it has the newest firmware on it and when it is working it freezes quite a lot.
i dont think ill bother with starview again as there are to many problems and i just found out it will go off after 12 months.

i forgot to ask, is the srever down now as the combi isnt working but starview 7 is??????

both boxes would be down if it was a server,did you factory reset and resan from direct feed and lan removed,make sure connections are good and tight,insert lan after channels loaded
reboot box and router

i sorted it now,
after the latest up date i did factory reset then rescan,
i noticed in network it doesnt say connected or disconnected now, there is a date instead.
all was working though.
then today i switched it on and for some reason in network settings the date has disappeard, still no connection status but i have type, network and homestream server options.
i went on to type and changed it from off to on and its all working again.

earlier boxes when you default them=factory reset the settings
are off and need switching on again,the sv7 has removed this option now on new file 1.04 its built in to firmware.

hi, sorry but this has nothing to do with this thread but it won't let me create a new one and this was the only closest thread . Would anyone be able to tell me please as to what frequency comedy central HD is on Virgin Media?
