I HAVE A STARVIEW 3 AND I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT PUTTING SOFTWARE IN CAN SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME.

download the new v8 gtrom file , unpack it into a folder in xp
connect a null modem cable from your pc to the sv3
make sure sv3 is turned off on back switch
load the gtrom file in explorer and select the correct com port and press download , now turn the sv3 on and wait until its all updated

then use the 1570 to get into the receiver and rescan etc
