Hey just bought a new splitter and at first the internet connection was ok and then it disappeared after 30 seconds!! Getting a bit frustrated now...

Tried your suggestion above and still no luck

Would sound like one of your co-axial v***** cables is faulty.
If using F-type(screw on) are you sure connections are perfect.
When you lose internet are you losing it on PC & TV signal to box
As a matter of interest what firmware is on the box. Look in;
MENU--UTILITY--SYST INFO
Latest firmware is;
Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview 7 Carling V1.04

still no luck bought a new split and the new wires! Internet came on for 20 seconds via splitter and then i lost it??

I have same problem just upgraded to carling 1.04 firmware now i have scarmbled channels and it just says connecting. Any ideas guys? tried reflashing and factory default

Try rebooting router & box, post back with more detail if need be
Presume you have prov cable & LAN-cable connected to box

please also say if you have a basic package and broadband and what your signal and quality channels are

yeah got basic tv package and 20mb broadband, signal and quality of fta channels is fine

i believe starview servers had a problem in the last day or so.
