    Possibly Dead Box (SV1 ?) - Can't get the logo.bin to flash

    Hi,

    Been doing this for a while (analog / sv / mosc etc) and never had any problems.

    Sorted the SV3 no problem - got my neices which I "presumed" was a SV2 (but now think it may be a SV1 - original not cloned).

    Grabbed the "Box UK Fix Pack 031208", flashed it no problem - flashing connected, bar goes to 100% and finally reports "flash burned" fine.

    I then went to put the logo on but it would not connect, the led moves across the front of the box about 3 places, the word "on" displays for half a second, then it completely powers off.

    Plugged it into the TV to try and I get absolutely nothing.

    Any ideas? Is it bricked?

    EDIT: I have tried going back to older images and using older rom loader apps but I can no longer get it to flash anything to the box.

      You used the wrong firmware as you have said. In relation to getting it back to its previous state. Use Cryptstar257 as it is safe for both genuine and clone boxes.

      You need to turn the box off from the back switch. Then with Gtromloader 4.00 and Cryptstar257 hit download. Wait a few seconds and then turn the box on.

      You may have to try this many times or you may get lucky first time around.

          Hi Tipster a sure way to fix your box load Cryptstar2.57 intoGtromloader then turn box on wait till you see first green led and hit download. Done this many times works first time.

                      had led scrolling on my sv2 shut everything on pc down re opened gt rom clicked download and switched box on and downloaded ok all working fine
