A couple of SV HD Combo LAN questions

I was a dreambox boy before Nagra 3 spoiled the party. Now having to learn about Starview seems like having to re-write a part of my education but the developments are exciting to say the least.

I've had a good read and from what I understand out of the 4 boxes with the cable work around at the moment the only HD one available is the HD Combo LAN aside from the incoming Kryptview HD.

    My questions are:

1: The HD Combo LAN seems to be out of stock in a lot of places. Is this a lack of supply or is this box being actively phased out?

2: This is more of a add on question to the first but how reliable are the HD Combo LAN boxes? I can't remember where I recall hearing this or even if I'm just mishearing things but I have heard the boxes are quite unreliable and I think I remember hearing they are indeed being phased out. Any truth to this?

At the moment I think it may be best to wait the apparent short wait to the Kryptview box but of course if I can get my hands on a Combo Box sooner and start watching the footy in HD I would take that option.

I would be wary of using any box which is on SV server. You
should ask Bytemaster when he's on. He's a big fan of the Combo. He might be able to tell you where to pick one up.
If you have sat dish DM800HD would be a better option
