There will be an update so don't bin.
The update will only apply to original true SVs and not clones from what I hear.Last edited by GrimReaper87; 4 December, 2008, 17:48.Comment

The guy who supplies my boxes (he only does SV4 now) told me the correct order of fixes (Kryptview, 3+4, 2+1), I rang asking where the SV1 update was and he declared that it's in the pipeline still being tested, he said this on Sunday about the SV2, I have no reason to doubt, he could have just said there are no fixes and to shell out for an SV4 (I have an SV1 and Kryptview).
I am just passing on info but this happened last time regarding SV1 and he said the same then.
A few rumours on other sites saying things like 'Santa is coming' in the SV1 forums.Comment

Hi GrimReaper87 did the guy who you spoke to about the SV1 update give you any idea of when the update will be released? tbh ive lost hope there will be an update for the SV1 and bought a kryptview, but won''t bin the SV1 just yet as if he is right and there is an update then I can always pass the SV1 onto someone.Comment

This is what I have been told also, the reason for delay is that the code has been made available to those that need it in order to further their education (so to speak). SV will not be supporting the SV1 others will but just takes time.Comment

fix
you can get both f/ware fixes for starview 1 and starview 1 clone from the chatterbox toolbar , the 257 core works in both but is for the clone fix. the 400 core is for the genuine box. Attack of the Clones |Last edited by camelv; 5 January, 2009, 15:47.
