help with starview 7 if poss

hi folks bin stumped here had a few starview 7 for friends over the last few months had 2 more came last week set them up as normal my friend rand me to say cant get owt on her box so bin and had a look and what happens is switch it on and it comes up with ucr on the box then goes onto 900 channels got no picture or sound cant even get on menu there is nothing please help many thanks in advance

First make sure scart is OK
Next try TV/AV button rem control(ucr is chinese for VCR)
Then see will box respond to CH+ &CH- on front of box
If you are still in trouble you need to fac-reset the box like this
ON REMOTE CONTROL HIT;
MENU
DOWN arrow button
RIGHT arrow button
DOWN
DOWN
OK
OK
Keep pressing OK until LED on box flashes. You will need to scan for channels
