    Noob question on Starview Versions

    Hi All!

Apologies in advance for the noob question - but how can I tell what version of Starview I have?

I read somewhere else that you can tell if its a clone by the amount of slots it has (7x20 or something) so I know for sure its not a clone - but I dont know what version it is.. If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks all!

Hi Press Menu then system info and it will tell you the api version and what software version you have on the box.

      It says:-

      API Ver : 3.00e_E
      Boot version : 7.0

Does that mean I have version 3?

looks like its a starview v1 to me , so it may be an original or may be a clone

          sv2 uses v4 firmware

          sv3 uses v6 to v8 firmware
