    Help SVHDCOMBO+ LAN

Hi, I've got a Starview HD Combo+ and have been trying to connect it to the net for a while, I've connected my router (Sky broadband) and installed the latest Carling firmware for LAN. The HS Server status says disconnected but the LED on my router is blinking. Also my IP setup is blank except the MAC address which is fine. I'm located in Swansea, Wales if it helps. I'm literally going to introduce my box to Mr. Hammer if this keeps up. Any help appreciated, thanks!
Oh and CSNet doesn't show up anymore since I've updated to the Dec28 FW, even when the CSNet option was available my box wouldn't connect. I've also done the whole 8989 Key Edit but no dice.

Simple things first. Unplug box & router. Plug in router then box.
Make sure IPsetup is set to auto-connect. Check this is firmware
    you used
Digital Kaos - Downloads - Starview HD LAN Combo Carling+_F531_1207
If still in trouble you can enter values in IPsetup manually, just
change last digit of IP address. Avoid this course of action if you
    can.

Tried this many times but it wont auto fill the IP, also entered my router settings and assigned an IP for my box using MAC address. Even entered the assigned IP into the box manually but nothing happens

Edit: Yes that's the firmware I'm using.

When you select auto-connect click on APPLY to activate it. Then reboot router & box. If you have to manually enter values Your mac is already filled in. Enter all other values exactly as in IP/config on
your PC, except IP address change last digit.
If PC ip address is 192.168.0.5
Enter box IP address 192.168.0.18 or similar last digit
Click on APPLY when you have entered all values

Hi M8 can you get into your router settings..?
          If so check connected devices.
If using home plugs bypass for now and direct ethernet connection.

          Starview Box
On the network and ip page set up make a manual ip address
          example 192.168.1.5
          Ensure you store correctly
          Now go to start/accessories/command prompt
          enter ping 192.168.1.5
Post back only the result .....
Once upon a time it was all about backdoor 0 passwords, now its only about the rsa keys !!!!!!!
          ---------------------------------------------

If this post has helped you........... Don't be shy and hit the Thanks button..

i had same problem. loaded this software all ok now.
            CARLING-COMBO.UK.1.00.uad.
you might need to reflash box with SVHD+FIX HD300N_SC_RS232_1013.bin if software wont load. CARLING-COMBO.UK.1.00.uad
