SV7 not connected - strange one - read on

The box doesn't seem to be communicating with the router after about 30 secs. I have tried it on a proven network to make sure. It does populate the ip data but the connection drops out after about 30 seconds or sooner if you change channels. I've tried it with both v1.03 and v1.04 and left it on v1.03 as it is the more proven. The only way to get it to re-connect is to switch it off at the back and wait 5 minutes. When switched back on, it connects but then disconnects after approx 30 secs. My original box works great on my setup which makes me think it might be an issue with the SV ethernet port since the software v1.03 is the same as on my original box which works fine!!

Suggestions anyone?

Symptoms sound like a clash of same ips on the network your on. Leave off known working box. Power down the router switch on box with problems at the mains then power up router see what happens
