I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams

Most people don't have a clue where to start. SunRise wants people to learn and do it for themselves. He's giving pointers and asking why its not working, etc. So next time when this sort of thing happens there will be plenty of people out there to help the community rather than a handful of people. It's a sound idea.

But,,, in same light,, why has it got to the position where so many these older unsupported boxes rely on one single guy to fix them all???......

Original , newer boxes are all supported still by the manufactor or whoever *cough *cough... by this i mean eurovoxs and later starviews.

I know the work Sunrise puts in!, and its pretty amazing,, but all I'm saying is, why why why is it at the stage so many boxes now rely on him alone to fix?

No one is asking you to learn anything in 5 minutes!
Last big hit was in April!,,( thats 8 months,, not 5 minutes! ), how many of you genuinly DID try learn something,,,, or how many had a wee play with a HEX editor thinking you were doing great no really getting anywhere,,,, and how many of you actually learned anything?
                  boom!

Read the post from the beginning. He is providing tutorial and is spoonfeeding those who are willing to try it for themselves.
