M8 if you can return it, dont waste any time, just do it.
Get yourself a KV a780 for cable or a DM500s for sat with a dish and a sub.
Nobody know if SV will be back up or not, take your chance!

at that price, must be a local purchase to you. could try and get refund but dont fancy your chances, software loaded voids warranty, and cant see seller get his money back. kryptview will go same way. so you could go legit or look into sat cs, which is a lot cheaper, i would say start browsing sat section and put this down to bad luck

Sat cs ain't alot cheaper mate a decent premium server is about 80 per year plus the cost of the box

It's amusing that anyone would think that KV were immune from investigation. Why would they only go after one organisation?

I'd be careful buying (and certainly selling) any of these cable boxes at the moment.

thanks for the replies people i will ring the shop up and have a word if he will do a straight exchange for a krypt view, either way as long as i get 3 months out of it its paid for itself

The guys where not under investigation it was found by accident it was a drugs raid that went wrong and they found the equipment kv r defo safe

If the extra was called a 'gift' I doubt you'd have a leg to stand on, since the gift could be interpreted as anything and not what you think it is. Good luck with trying to exchange it anyway, but the dealer may be stuck with quite a few of them and so not that willing to exchange.

Will some 1 explain to me the two deferent?s between the seller trying to sell the equipments as explained to make money and the buyer?s intent to defrauding the company for watching TV illegally.
