Starview have had some card readers burn out and have ordered replacements from China, these will take a few days to arrive. I don't have specifics but am told that they will get it back online ASAP.

Actually mate they have all the box mac addresses and uptime! As for ip they have to contact the ISPs whom are reluctant to give details (except virgin ofcourse) for individuals imagine the cost! The end user will be safe because of the cost to Persue and prosecute 70,000 people that own box's will be rediculose!

They wont have end user IP's so i wouldnt worry too much as these would be logged at the relay side (overseas) VM and the fuzz have shut down the card server operation (local) probably through someone snitching or some other intelligence. It does appear to be the case that they have only been using the 1 premises to upload all card data to the relay server and if so then imho it has been a somewhat unprofessional operation from the get go and hence doomed for failure.

But saying that lets make no mistake about it we all know or should know the dangers of buying into these systems and if anyone doesnt then they can blame it on their own ignorance. I do hope they manage to get everyone sorted and back to normal soon and learn from the mistakes they've made.

even if they had your ip they will not bother trying to take any one to court as it way to much hassle there just happy that they got the main server .i would say for sure that all you that have gone down am sorry to say have little chance of it coming back.

the fact is these guys have been busted not everyone in the county will be on there servers the reason every one else as gone off is that all the other servers have pulled the plug shipped out all there gear till it all dies down which could be a while
