SV HD Combo lan help

Knowing what has gone on and its going to be a while before it all comes back on could someone please explain how we can get the sat side of our box's working.

I know there is probably 100 or more posts on this subject all ready but a fresh tut posted here would be a great help to people waiting or panicking that there box's are dead when the sat side should be fine and work.

Please dont dis this post,,,, it would be a massive help to me and 100's of others and someone will know how to explain it simply so we can get them up and running.

well said m8 , i'm sure its as easy as entering your setup and fiddling around a bit will have a look around for you but it should be as easy as , starview to there credit are user friendly i'll have a look

remember the sat side uses the sv server unless its advanced for c/s if not freesat.

Great link but that tells you how to set up the cable side of the box, the cable side is all ready set up just waiting for the server to come back on, what we need is the set up and info for the sat side of the box....?

Everything seems to point to the cable side of the combo box's i cant find anything for the satellite side of the box.


Just read cactikids post.......... dam is that right that the sv box also needs the server for the sat side also is there no other server we can use for the sat side........

There are loads of other sat stuff there for free tho right, i seem to only get a few FTA channels on the box switching back to my TV's built in receiver gives me loads more then the box does FTA wise i find that a little strange.
So if i plug up a dish and point it at a sat i will get all the FTA sat stuff right without having to reconfigure the box or uploading any files.....?

when the 1year is up you need to get the c/s side up and running and this is done by changing the ip in box,c/s on sat side is not talked about on open forum,google cccam for more info and remember its a paid service not free,good luck in finding the info.

Sorry M8 but you are incorrect here.
The sat side has absolutely nothing to do with the server on the cable side.
Further more you can just put the Knightrider Patch on the SV combo and this removes all elements attached to the cable side.

I was hoping you might do a little tutorial for sat set-up. When people follow the link below the text for sat is not complete. It
takes them as far as installing cam on box & stops mid sentence

Don't have this box myself but a lot of members could do with
