setting up cccam for starview HD combo

Hi,

this is my first post, and i am novice in this field. please show me how to set up the cccam in the starview hd combo on the satelite side. I had this receiver for nearly a year and did not manage to get the sitelite side work properly.
please I need some help.

If this has already been answered please show me where.

If anyone is seeking advice on setting up their Combo's on the sat side I will try to offer help here.
Im not any guru on these and cant perform any magic tricks but if you post a reasonable question that does not appear to have been answered elewhere I and others on here might be able to offer advice.
Absolutely no links to servers or where to find server questions will be answered and if any one does ask I would hope the mods can delete and give a warning to offenders.
CCcam You look for on google
Cardsharing google
Free servrers google
Paid servers google
Most likely cardsharing talk on S*y Uk is forbidden on most forums so again I wont help there and maybe a mod can say yes or no this topic.
Again google is a good friend for the above....

Just to finally clear up most of the questions in 1
If you receive someting via google to use !!!!!!!!
If it starts with C: its c*cam
If it stars with N: usually N*wcamd.
What follows after the (example ) C: is what goes in the address line followed by exit then ok.
Usually 5 numbers next (example) 12345 thas the port
next a bunch of letters & numbers (example) us3r thats the user id then a space and again more letters & numbers that the pass (example) t3st. Finally 01 02 03 ------ al the way to 14 thats the d3s k3y you normally dont need to fill this as it should already be done. If not flick to n3wcamd then back to c*cam and it will populate.......

was working fine on cable side till servers went down connected to a sat dish an get a signal but after scan it doesnt find any channels not even fta any help greatly appreciated

which sat you scanning 28.2, it may be dish has moved, or if its been up a few years may be pointing at 19.2. also check all cable and the lnb, replace whatever is faulty

For a successful transition to satelite side of Combo HD, do we need different firmware (ex. grooverider been mentioned) or it makes no difference?
My box currently has carling 1.00 software version f5.12

Also it would be educational to have a quick post or guide on the difference between cccam and newcamd for example, if anyone can do? (just a quick guide on things like what the input sections under each one mean for example)

I am not sure is it ok to ask those questions and I am trying to formulate the post so it is only within educational purpose lines

can u advise me on the sat side ive set up my svhd combo and im getting scrambled channels every 5 minutes or so is there anything i can do to stop this or is it a firmware issue because starviews gone ?????

extract it with winrar or winzip
put a spare usb stick in the rear slot of combo
Press red button bottom right on remote (USB)
Select format usb
Put your extracted file on the formatted usb stick
press big red button again
press ok on file
select sw update
box will reboot when done
