Starview 7 in my opinion

Hi all,

I feel that *Starview and *Kyryptview are no different to *VM as they are charging for a product and service. The fact is they are worse than *vm as they are ripping them off as well as the average customer. I thought that the whole thing about cable/sat was to learn how their systems worked and and set ourselves challenges to find this information, but now it's all about money and free cable. From the box suppliers to agents selling and people updating boxes it's all about money. The people who loose out are the enthusiasts. What I suggest is that if SV and KV want to be commercial big boys then their box software should be compromised, find the server details and incorporate both server information to individual box flash. Also along with this would be to eliminate the year restriction.

Just my opinions by the way

Well to do that you would have to:
1.get a mate in China or korea to setup a server.
2.get another mate to buy a full Verrmin sub.
3.somehow upload those subs to your mates server in China/korea.
4 dig a hole to hide in from the cops

If I wanted free cable I would setup my own cs network with select few people.

The issue I only want to raise is that we are being taken for a ride with these boxes.

When Nagra 2 was compromised there was a great community which shared information but now people are held to ransom.

and how are you being taken for a ride with these boxes? what was it advertised as? a fta box with a GIFT!!
Its still an fta box. the sellers havent broken the law, the users have by hooking them up to the cable feed and router and circumventing the security.
You wanted to break the law and it hasnt worked for as long as you would have liked. shit happens!

nobody points a gun at your head to buy one, so how are you taken for a ride, you make the choice and take the risk, go legit and stop moaning.

sat has always been like this, new boxes come and go, they dont moan its a hobby. probably some have spent more than going legit
