need a little help and advice

having read through the forum, and realizing my starview (version 4.51) needs to be connected via cable to be updated

i've been out and bought the cable i need and downloaded the keygen from the main forum pages (not sure if this is the correct keygen for my box)

now hopefully some one can point me in the direction of the loader i need?? and give me a little bit of an idiots guide to this as im a newb to this

any hlp you guys can offer will be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

get the loader v4.03 and the bin file 4.55 and download it into the sv2 the box , factory reset , enter menu , type 1570 and press set keys default and go to emu and change to ON , exit , now do a full auto scan on your provider

4.54 is the old file from 12 months ago !

the fix file on this forum is actually the v8.02e_E bin file from a couple of days ago and is in the downloads section as a full pack with readme

but todays fix is called v4.55 , make no mistake about that ( but it aint here yet )

when a fileguy loads them here , you will find them once your post count allows it ( most forums have a minimum post count )

in the meantime you can try the sv2 fix pack posted the other day but its more long winded

I havent tried it on a v4.51 but I am told it will directly upgrade any previous version to v4.55 in one download , so I would say yes but cannot be 100% sure without seeing it myself

if you use thge fix pack , you have to go to v4.54 first and check it boots etc , then factory reset and go to v8.02e

once a fileguy uploads v4.55 bin file here , use the v4.03 loader from the v4.54 flash pack
