why is there so meny divys puting posts on here about sv comeing back on .everyone should face it its gone.but so is the kryptveiw thats on its way out to.it will take a new set up to sort it all out.so lets stop all the bull posts please.

A lot of Starview owners are rightly upset, that their ?160 investment has gone up the swanny. Some times they take a while to find which direction to turn to help, and this site may not be their first port of call when looking for help.
I first came here a couple of years ago looking for help, and never left because of the many helpful people on here, even shady

I sympathise with the SV owners, I certainly wouldnt like to lose that sort of money on a defunct piece of equipment, and I would too be looking for answers, however slim the chance may be. I wouldn't call them divvys. Just desperate folk trying to solve their problems.

Yeah, gamble would be a better word, I gambled too, and got my money back as regards monthly subscription. Not as well as some, but better than others.
I guess thats a better way to look at things, gambling.. after all, we hope to win... as in receiving channels, but if we lose, like the Starview lads, then thats the risk.

i would call it educated risk. for me, my two boxes lasted 5 months so i am not crying about it but rather pondering on which direction to take now.
i have looked at "going straight" but vermin and sly are just too expensive at 80 quid a month for what i enjoyed with sv.
if they come on again then great but if not, theres always freeview/freesat and a lovefilm.com sub!Comment
