NEW FIRMWARE - carling+F537_1209 - DOWNLOAD SECTION

I just saw a new firmware in download section of DK, just thought I'd let ppl know and if anyone has tried it out could they let me and others on the forum know if it fixes the SVHD combo lan STB out on the cable side of CS.

Coz I sold my one to some mug! I am thinking of getting TM-600PVR or DM-800HD or Blade, after what has happened with SV I don't want to take the risk of it happening again with KV-780/750 STB.
But would be intresting to find out if with the new firmware the dead boxes come back to life or not!

it dont work. i just tried it. it gets to 20% then fails.........other people have tried it with the same result.

Your taking a risk with this caper no matter what you do, be it cable or sat.

lets just say sat cs isnt the infallible system people believe it to be, all providers are investigating ways to f**k it up.

i wouldnt try it on sv 6 or 7 as all the firmware has been differant so far. sv combo has its own firmware...

Cheers just read the small print its for the HD box, it be good if it does work as surely be release for Starview 6 and 7 soon.

I have removed it, there are no new bin files released for any SV model.That particular one was an older renamed firmware.

For those posting I will try it above, good luck.
