need a little more help

i have downloaded the gtrom loader from the download section for my starview box but dont seem to have the .bin file,,,,

could one of you guys send me the link to the exact download i need,, sorry to be a pain but im on a system with very limited downloads so cannot just keep downloading files

manual input hasnt worked so need to update using the cable so if anyone can get me the .bin file id appreciate it

Hodge you have told me the version of gtrom not your box. is your box a s`view 1 if so there is no public release you will have to do a manual input for the time being.

i have a starview box and and need the download, not sure there is a fix ,but if not can you tell me please where i can get the manual keys and how to input these

thank you so much for your help,, one last question,, does my box need to be plugged to the TV when i flash it,,

comp and tv at opposite corners of the room
or does it just need power to it??????????????????

no mate - you can keep it plugged into the tv but i never do.

so it wont hurt when i unplug it from the mains to take it back to my tv after flashing then

yes it will blow up mate and render the box useless. LOL.

absolutely no probs mate. just read the readme file that comes with it and read satsmo info. you need to make sure you upgrade from the correct software. check what s`ware is on it - something like menu, system information and take a note.

trying to flash now,, but when i hit download nothing happens,, also one of the read me files says i have to double click the starview option but the loader doesnt give me this option???
