hi,

i have the starview 3 box (the superbox) and as you know it stopped working last year due to nag3. i think it is now that i need to get its replacement, i was wondering is there anything now that has established itself, with good connectivity and maybe even a HD option (would really want HD, but not essential )

only box working on cable is kryptview 780,not a hd box

id get an open source hd box...which is a spiderbox/starview Hd combo...cept without the cable side. ? 90

A dish 1 mtr & install, ?180-?210

Then check out ** on google. Some very reliable ones, although Im yet to get tv2 & Viasat.

i would go for the kryptview 780, as they have been and will stay as the more professional and reliable ones... the HD version is currently on schedule for June time this year

i have the starview 6 it was working fine up till last month.Now nothing.ive used the updates but everything is still scrambled.i know my way around these boxes,ive tryed rescanning,et it to the right symbol rate,and i used the latest firmware but ziltch,its still down.any one got any ideas.my wee pal has one of those kryptview boxes i will ask him if his is still on

Am confused what bit are you asking if iam serious, the starview 6 was working so was the starview 7, it was streaming on the net and getting most channels,we all know nag3 """cked up they way the boxes worked,this was inconvienient for a while then ,a way around it was working as most of us knew,then it all stopped again,the simple question is does any one know if these STARVIEW boxes are going to be connected again to the server,if iam missing something here please point it out to me,after al it is a discusion not a slagging site

Shouldnt be confused it was a sarcastic remark simply because you said about the kryptview which did not have a problem when you posted it was all to do with SV boxes and you would have known that had you read the many posts that were posted at the time.

Again Im not being sarky but just pointing out if you had read the posts you would known the current situation regarding the SV and the fix being tested.

Hopefully in a few days there might be a full release for these boxes, its a question of wait and see.

Invest in kryptview,they used to be the crappest one but now they seem to be the most reliable onest :P

sv7 is working fine getting more channels every couple of days but it is finally working

Reaper man go to the download section select the fw you want and hit the download button mate job done........

hi can anyone help me. Ive dowloaded the new fix for starveiw 7 thats was put on ere this month. Theres loadsa feed bk from ppl saying there boxes r bk up n running. Why cant I get mines to work ive followed all the instructions but still my channels are scambled... Am I doing something wrong?
