    Starview gone, "new contenders anyone?"

    Hi Everyone,

I am fully aware that Starview is finished, and will not return. I am not one of those wishful thinkers who believes it might be back in the future.

Starview is the past, so I am looking to the future. I have read a couple of threads fleetingly, and the best options for Cable users seem to be the Dreambox or Kryptview.

I am keen to get further insight into which is the best option right now before I make the descision to buy.

Recommendations for the best model of Dreambox or Kryptview would be great also.

    Thanks!

Buying is a very wise decision, but will star come back well if it came back in Ireland there may be a good chance it may but it?s a big but, providing you are able to wait till death take part.

Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

Did you know People will question all the good things they hear about you but believe all the bad without a second thought.

Typical SV why do you think theyre on Sv 7 ? Sooner or later theyll release SV 8 and tell everyone to buy that as SV 7 is no longer supported.

Kryptview same kettle of fish, nothings invincible, while box sales are good..server may stay up...next thing will probbaly be..buy thr new HD box...etc..

Everyones in it for the money...do you think they actually care about providing people a CS service out of the goodness of their hearts or "communuty" spirit...Forget about it...they just bigger versions of your local CS traders, who were the same traders that were selling modded pace, sammy boxes with Fun cards etc......
