every body sell your sv boxs as soon as poss i sold myne weks ago i got ?60 each 4 my 2 sv 7 boxs and ?150 for my euroview hd box but at the moment the sv 7 are still selling between 50 and ?60 so get rid cause all they good fro is door stops!!!!!

Think its a bit late for that now and most people know they`re doorstops.

Besides dont think its good to try and sell on to an unsuspecting buyer who thinks he`s getting a working box when all along the seller knows otherwise but thats just my thoughts. Saying that Im on the lookout for a combo.

Fair enough but dont think people were ever interested in the sv7 as an fta box, so anybody buying them now is people who dont know the situation with SV.

why would anyone in their right mind buy a sv7 as a fta box with much less fta channels than a proper fta box such as freeview or freesat for much less!

No morally responsible person would sell one on to punters who dont understand what they are getting.

How would you like it if you or a friend of yours were done?

you know that there is still a slight chance that they can be bought back? if your sv is showing connected, that means that there is still a server present, but the data is missing, which can still be sorted, not holding out for it, but it can happen...

Yeah I still have my d2mac receiver in the attic, hopefully it will be back on soon as well, probably sooner than SV.... perhaps some help from Saint Jude is called for, he's the patron saint

ive seen a couple of posts now from peeps saying their boxes are showing connected, mine just says connecting, and has been that way for nearly a month now.

I, like many others hoped the channels would spring back into life, and also like many others, was taken in by suppliers telling us the boxes will be back (this week, next week) but I must confess that our peers, the DK veterans were right all along when they advised us to move on!

to some people this is a hobby. the selected few that is. most its all about free tv.selling a box on when you know thats its 95% likley not to come back on is a bit rum if you ask me,we are here to help not hinder people.
Over the years ive had various boxes and well had my moneys werth out of them so i didnt mind taking the hit with the sv7. but its gone now so up in the loft it goes. not staight to fleebay for some poor ~~~~er to unsuspectingly buy it and get ripped off. then to come to places like this and ask for help setting it up and to told its dead

And if we genuinly want to help those people, many of them being complete newbies to all this, we should all be persuading them not to throw good money after bad and give them (almolst false) hope.

Thats just my opinion though...
