pickup lines

so yeah... ive never really heard of pickup lines working, but a friend told me his workmate used one to get his wife. It went something like this in a pub...

He was sitting down... talking to his mate... and the girl was about 10 metres or so away... and he kept doing a finger gesture... and everytime she looked hed just do the same fingering gesture...

so eventually the girl walks over... and asks...

"why do you keep doing that to me?"

he says

"I figured if I kept fingering you, you'd come eventually"

they ended up getting married one day...

anyone know any other good stories about pickup lines?
