never trust an old lady
A young man shopping in a supermarket, noticed a little old lady following him around. When he stopped, she stopped and furthermore, she kept staring at him.
She finally overtook him at the checkout. She turned to him and said,, "i hope i haven't made you feel ill at ease, but it's just that you look so much like my late son". He answered her softly,, "that's ok". She went on,,, " i know this might sound a bit silly, but if you'd call out to me, "Goodbye Mum" as i leave the store, it would make me feel so happy".
She then went through the checkout, and just as she was going out of the door, the man waved and called out, "Goodbye Mum". The little old lady waved back at him and left the shop. Pleased that he had brought a little sunshine into her day, he went to pay for his groceries. "That'll be ?175.54" said the girl at the checkout. ", What", said the man,,, "i only bought 5 items,, so how come so much?" The checkout girl replied,, "I know.............
but your mother said you'd be paying for her things too.
