Ahkmed the Arab came to the United Kingdom from the Middle East , and he was only here a few months when he became very ill.

He went to doctor after doctor, but none of them could help him.

Finally, he went to an Arabic doctor who said: 'Take dees bucket, go into de odder room, shit in de bucket, piss on de shit, and den put your head down over de bucket and breathe in de fumes for ten minutes.'

Ahkmed took the bucket, went into the other room, shit in the bucket, pissed on the shit, bent over and breathed in the fumes for ten minutes.

Coming back to the doctor he said, 'It worked. I feel terrific! What was wrong with me?'





The doctor said ... 'You were homesick'.

I don't think he meant to offend. Jokes get told in here about Thick Irishmen, thieving Scousers and drug dealing mancs but it's just that, a joke.

its about the humour, not the racism. Just because the joke is about a particular race does not make it racist. As is the case with this joke, the humourours factor in this joke rests on the unexpectedness of the homesickness, not on the person's race.

Insults are also funny, working class British people insult each other all the time, about race, baldness, fatness or whatever else they can think of. It does not make them racists or bigots of any kind, nor does the recipient, it's a cultural thing.
