It will be OK once they've finished it. ;-) In all seriousness one to visit is Eilean Donnan Castle Welcome to Eilean Donan Castle | Eilean Donan it makes Dunnotar look poor and there's a lot better scenery on route.

might be on our list to do,, seeing as it is near Balamory (isle of skye) although the older my young un gets, the further from cbeebees she is bothered a bout.

You'll have to go to Tobermory on Mull for the Balamory location. Same side of the Country and a nice day out also. You'll not want to go back to the smoke afterwards though.
