RIP OFF Parking Charges

Our ~~~~ing srcounging Council has put up the resident parking charges from ?10.00 per year to ?50.00 per year and no guarantee you can even park your car outside your own house.

?50.00 for first car & ?75.00 for every other car. We got 3 cars at out address so from paying ?30.00 per year, we are now expected to pay ?200.00!!!
Also street & car park charges have doubled and many disabled spaces removed.
These scrounging bast@rds are sucking every penny out of us, while they sit on their leather chairs in air conditioned offices behind closed doors.

Don't forget to add on the extra parking tax if you drive a diesel.

Write the petition and send it to the Parliament and tell the council we do not have the money full stop, another point you should all tell the council we do not want the residential parking any more because as there is no more space left to park the car therefore there is no point to pay.

Also take into consideration if you have a commercial vehicle for work at 3.5 tonne or more, which is only a mwb high top renault or transit for example, your not covered by permit so you can be liable to a fine. This might be region specific but I was close to getting ticket even after displaying a permit scratchcard from customer. When I phoned to complain I was given a 'V' number to replace scratchcard but asked to park on yellows instead. When I asked what would happen if I lived in a permit parking zone with my van being the only vehicle I own I was told I would get tickets as and when caught ... ~~~~3R5

We sent in a petition signed by 1058 local residents & asked our local Lib Dem Counselor to fight our case but to no avail. The ~~~~ing council decided behind closed doors that the massive rise in resident parking charges were justified & implemented the charges. Thoses ~~~~ing beggers didnt want to know.
We have no chance of reversing the order now as the ~~~~ing council is now raking in ?thousands? from this theft.

Residents parking, it's the residents that cause the problem not the commuters.

*THINK* you can go to the council offices and under the freedem of information act, ask which coont voted for this in the first place, then when you get there names, you can ask them where they live and do they have residents aprking

good idea. then contact them and say you have 1058 residents who will be actively campaigning against their reelection next time around

CAN'T SEE NO REASON, WHY THERE Are no reason why you can't get it in writing that, xxxxx and xxxxxx said vote for residents parking, with their phone number/email/address stick in your front window for all to see.

then print off say 10 "BLANK" letters something like:-
