    equity release

i have been asked to sort out the above for a family member, having never even read about the pros and cons, ins and outs etc etc,im looking for some sound advice, hopefully 1 or more people on here might have some experience in this field
like all things financial theres always things that crop up that maybe you never found out in the first place etc,so i want to research this thoroughly in the coming weeks, anyone got any tips please ? serious replies peeps please
just to add the house that we are looking to release equity on has no mortgage on it,,its really a way round the extortionate inheritance tax fiasco

    Pro's & Con's....

Pro - You get money to pay off the nasty tax man

Con - Risking the property once mortgaged if the base rate increases dramatically.

It will all be about how good a deal you can get on the mortgage.

Just sent a friend a text as I don't have his business e-mail address. He's an independent financial & mortgage adviser. I've trusted him with my life in the past & will do again in the future. He won't sugar coat the info he gives you.

As soon as he replies I'll PM you the address.
