oh happy days, t rex, baycity rollers, mud,slade, platforms, baggy trousers, penny rounds, long hot summers, cheap beer and pubs was full ...summer of 76 was one long hot one, 77 olivia newton john. 78 world cup argentina......just a few memories of that wonderful era... i might be using rose tinted glasses but life seemed so simple then, cars easy to fix, no mobiles, no pc,s, no sky/cable

Just barely mate, but i do remember the 2 ladies in Abba makin me wonder what it would be like to have two girlfriends (more trouble than it was worth i found out years later, )

I remember it well.Always played Slade B sides as they were 'heavier' than the chart topping stuff.Was well seasoned to the mini skirt by then and wore the bell bottoms.
You could open the bonnet on a car and see the ground below on both sides of the engine and you had to use the computer in your head to solve all the problems.

Loved the 70s .. used to hit pubs and clubs every night. Felt totally safe could roam around towns with not a fear. Bit iff now walking around town at night .. Shame

i was 21 in 1970, i have a picture of me wearing purple loons and a tank top. but im sure you would not be interested in seeing that , i was really skinny then wtf happened. great times tho

The 70's were the best years man... early 70's the 6 week summer holidays were 4 month long, grass was greener, fruit and Colour tellys were more tasty and colourful..
Late 70's the yammy fizzy, endless supplies of virgins, Proper pop bands... Oh how I long for those days again.
