Philips C150 DECT Phones

i have a set of 3 Philips C150 DECT phones in the house. i bought them about six months ago.

the call volume only has 3 settings and all seem to be very low. sometimes i can hardly hear callers, especially if they are calling from a call centre and using a headset. it isn't just me as my daughter has remarked on it as well.

is there anything i can do about this? and if not what phone would anyone recommend that has a decent call volume?

i had similar problem on my phone.are you sure those volume settings are not just for the base ring volume,i had to press a button on handset while receiving a call....just a thought

yes, when i press the button on the handset during a call it goes from volume 1 - 3 but even volume 3 is extremely low

How about when a call centre rings, tell them to get a proper phone. Until then dont bother ringing. saves you money and gives you some amusement for a few minutes

well i gave up on these phones, dug out the box and the receipt and the shop gave me a credit note no problem, so i have replaced them with Panasonic phones instead. Will let you know how i get on with them

Pretty happy that they did it so easily considering i have the phones for over six months at this stage

the new phones are great, i can hear much more clearly, so either the phillips ones were faulty or the sound level was crap on them. anyway happy now

well done to Power City for taking the product back and not causing any hassle, even though i had them for over seven months
