all the Drum i smoke is duty free or European. most peeps i know who go on holidays or business abroad bring me some home. Always less than E50 for 10 x 50gs. much better than giving the robbing f()cking government here the most of the E18 per pack for ONE 50GRAM PACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    AAAARRRGGH

And then they have the goddam brass neck to put a warning tell me it will kill me. AAAAARRRGGGGG again.

(Gibraltar has been cheapest ive gotten if i remember correctly)

      Doing it wrong!
Tobacco needs to ferment for a period, like beer, it needs to be aged.
I mix Pipe tobacco's this is how i found out, i dont grow any but ive thought about it. takes way too much time though due to having to first grow, then harvest then age the stuff...

I smoke Drum, don't like GV and haven't tried amber leaf.

Usually pay ?4.50 a pouch from a guy that goes abroad once every two month. usually brings me 10 x 50.

Best I've had was 40 x 50g for ?40 all legit, came from St.Thomas in the US Virgin Islands.

Western Europe is pretty much all the same now, Belgium you can save a few pence by paying in Sterling, but not as much as you used to. Andorra as costa says is VERY cheap, but it is duty free, not duty paid like rest of Europe, so is liable to the limitations imposed by customs. And they are bassads on the Andorra/Spanish border, Search EVERY car.
I should be going in a few weeks, so will price up things.

I don't bother now mate... the only way I bring stuff back is if people pay up front, and I don't go out my way to get it. Got fed up with outlaying a few hundred quid, and then collecting it back in dribs and drabs at the local pub... cost me more in beer than any profits made.
The last lot I sold for ?5 a pouch, and it cost***8364;4. something I believe.

The trouble you have with Andorra is that all the local tabacconist and duty free sales are in direct contact with border control customs, they simply take you details and passport details and pass it on, so when you innoccenty arrive at the border, the customs already have the upper hand. They simply confiscate it off you and sell it back to the duty free sales that sold it to you at a discounted price. Not a bad little earner for them, had a few mates who have been stung...

Found out a while ago that my dad was importing his tobacco himself. Can't remember exactly how it worked, but every month he had his personal limit of tobacco sent over from god knows where. Even with HM Revenue & Customs wanting their slice it was still cheaper than buying local.
