council hollow honeycomb doors

ho does anyone know where in manchester area i could get sme coincil property doors made up i need 6 replacing in my property due to wear and tear and the council wont do them and as i am moving out soon dont want to pay for expensive doors .

B&Q have moulded 6 panel doors for ?19, but I'm sure if you ask around the neighbourhood you'll pick up a few for free or at most a fiver.

i have checked wickes and was going to but the cheap moulded panel doors they sell for 5 @ 15.98 each but my doors are all odd sizes and they only allow for a 10mm trimming on the edges and tops/bottoms out opf the six i need 1 would fit them

are these solid mdf right through i.e i can trim them top and bottom as much as i like as these would be great as they are bigger than any of my requirements and i could get them all cut to size.

Just go to your local builder and ask him how much for a cheap flush panel door. They should be fairly cheap.

Make up a big tub of paper mache, fill in any holes with it and paint over when dry. No one will notice the difference, well not until you're well away and handed the keys back in

your doors sound exacxtly like mine,odd sizes and ~~~~ed,i did get some cheep panel doors from the local builders yard,but the guy fooooked up the sizes,but ive been toyin with the idea of gettin
some hardboard measured for each door and nailing them onto the doors but not got round to it,its gonna cost about ?30 for all the doors covered

Adding a slim film of wood to those doors would instantly make them 10x stronger mate, it's not just a cheap fix, it works and will make the door much more fire-proof.
