Aren't shoes brilliant?
I've never really appreciated them until today. I was in the pub and went to the toilet. I looked down to see I was stood in a puddle of piss. Classy!

Shoes, cor dear me. I can only dream about the sheer luxery of shoes. Due to a foot injury I have spent the last month in slippers.
Trust me, you get some funny looks when it's pissin it down haha.

Trouser legs are also unsung heroes.

Went out as a young'n and got way too drunk, switched to these slush things which i thought would return me to my normal state of competency, turns out they where margaritas (i was young and inept) gunning tequila when trying to get sober doesn't work, lesson learned.

Wound up in a toilet stall, throwing up.

It got messy, instead of into the bowl it bounced around a good bit and covered everything but my trusty trouser legs and shoes protected me! YAY! \o/
Vomit seriously effects the grip performance, the best way to combat this i found out quickly was to slide your legs apart and wedge them against the sides.
Had i been wearing shorts?
I wouldnt have had the faculties awarded by the superior trouser leg performanc to a-frame-wedge and would have wound up face down in my own puke.

I bought a pair of shoes last week and was out walking last weekend in them when they suddenly turned and almost knocked me over.
When I looked at the ground there was an enormous dog poo that I would have stepped in. Now that's what I call a sensible pair of shoes.

gotta say i wear comfy shoes and not the stilts you see the young uns in these days.i dont know htf they walk in them. my niece will say oh they are the most comfy shoes ever - err i think not!!!
