This is for a very worthwhile cause, its not me doing it. Hope some of you are feeling generous
'In January, our family went through hell when my sister-in-law went into hospital with pregnancy complications. She was in for over a month and as well as needing a lot of care herself, the baby was seriously ill and we were told he would probably not make it.
He's now 11 weeks old and absolutely perfect, thanks to the fantastic staff at the Southern Gen in Glasgow. I can't really say enough wonderful things about them.
We're doing an 8 mile run from Saltcoats to Portencross next Sunday to raise money for the unit if anyone would be kind enough to donate.'
