This was clearly visible this evening in southern uk
Looked so bright and was moving veryvery quick
Did anybody else see it in wales scot or eire ?
First time ive seen it

i was working outside all night and i heard two fellas talking(yanks) and pointing up in the sky,being a bit nosey i moved a bit closer within hearing distance and caught the end of the conversation about (thats the iss) up there,and it will pass back over again in about 10 minutes,,lo and behold within 10 minutes it came back again,,i can only assume it done a complete orbit in 10 minutes ? or am i being stupid here ?

the space station takes around 90mins to obit earth mate tavelling around 15000 miles per hour.

Yes and some of the best times for viewing are during the winter months when we have clearer skies.Although i've never seen it before its supposed to be quite spectacular watching the space shuttle chasing ISS as it negotiates the docking procedure.Sadly i believe there is only going to be one more opportunity to see this before the last shuttle is retired.

I watched it one night and suddenly it lit up, must of got a reflection from the sun???

Will be over uk tonight at 10.08 for approx6 minutes and again at 11.44 hopefully get another sighting

hi red its like getting a bus down your why you only see it once in a blue moon but if you go out tonight keep an eye open for this you cant miss it

exactly that,a big bright white light which im told is the reflection from the sun,,if you have a super duper telescope then even better,,i never saw it last night was really cloudy in the heathrow area,but check here http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata...region=England
and you can see what dates it may be visible in your location
