i used to do it in the early 80s, its a great rush and you cant stop grinning afterwords. the biggest downside as a hobby is waiting around, if its windy, raining, or low cloud you dont jump and if it clears then everyone wants a lift. in a six months period think i only got about six jumps in and i went every weekend. so if you have to travel it soon gets expensive to sit around and wait. but every one should try it, its one of the safest sports around
