Electrons have mass - however Electricity has no mass as Electricity is the energy caused by the electrons moving back and forth - hence AC currnet they actually go no where just move back and forth 50 times a second. The moving back and forth of the electrons is created by generators.

Think you need to go back to school on that one - thats really not how AC power systems work !
Electricity definitely has no mass
As I mentioned earlier, that is pretty much the case.

Of course it is - which school would you like me to go back - Qualified Electrician (time served), HNC in Electrical Installation, Degree in Applied Mathematics, Degree in Surveying, Masters in Contract Law??
The generator spins huge magnets which in turn move the elctrons and coulombs back and forth it alternates the current (AC) well 60 times a second now (60hz) - was 50 when i was at school.
The flow of energy over one cycle of AC waveform is the same forwards as it is back - simple principle of electric that you learn in college.

Impressive though they may appear, non of those qualifications is really anything to do with the study of electron behaviour or even basic electronic theory.

I dont think you really learnt that at college. Yes, the magnets spin and yes you get 50/60Hz but electrons moving back and forth in the way that you mean then no. If thats what you were taught then they've given you the same noddy version they give schoolkids. Back to school for you

hmm, very simplistic and doesn't really define electron function. If that were literally true then no work could get get done. Again, I suspect you've been given the noddy convenience version.
Ouch --- just read those replies - Well what I said is absolutely true. And well you know it. There is not one word that is wrong - it may be simplistic, but why over complicate things.
Is it correct that one complete wave of AC is as much forward as it is back? It may be conveniance but it does travel as much forward as it does back? Again - on the surface totally correct. Electrons do have mass but by changing the charge and moving it back and forth does not alter the mass so therefore electricity has no mass or no greater mass than the what the electrons already have?
